Grandmaster Jax and the Ol' Dirty Dada yo
We got more game than Candyland and Chutes and Ladders yo
We comin' with that kid hop to make your crib rock
(Yo, I heard the Knuckleheadz was soft) (Oh no you did not)
1 kid rapper, livin' off cheese and crackers
Signin' autographs (But sometimes I write my J's backwards)
We make ya jump when we're chillin' at the playground
Continuing the style that the 90's younguns laid down
(No clowns), no Pennywise up on the mic
5 years old learnin' to flow (while learnin' how to ride my bike)
Yea! Velcro shoes, never messin' with the shoestrangs
When he was one, his first word was (Wu-Tang)
And now we do thangs to make the crowds go bananas
(In pajamas) from up north all the way down to Atlanta
We found the code to the game and cracked it
And when we on stage, we're (hyperactive!)
Ol' Dirty Dada and the Grandmaster Jax yo
The illest duo since Big Boi and Thee Stacks yo
Southernplayalistic, kinda juvenile and twisted
Little too young for the club, so we hangin' at (Scratch Biscuit)
Old school like Mystic and Clearly Canadian
Chillin' in our Treehouse club, (that's where your lady been)
Not tryin' to brag, but dag gone we fly!
We makin' your girls cry (like they got shampoo in their eyes)
Oh! (It's on tonight), that's right
Ain't sellin' out unless we get a call from Sprite
(or Lego) or maybe Lego but the price gotta be bigger
Word to Jigga (Me and Dada want our own mini-figures)
We're doing things to make the crowd say incredible
We said to go bananas, (cause we don't like vegetables)
We found the code to the game and cracked it
And when we on stage, we're (hyperactive!)
This album is amazing and relatable. I can't really describe it.
I feel like I do this album disservice with this description. Give it a listen! Robin Wils
I love this whole album: It just captures a wide range of experiences and affects the listener with a wide range of emotions.
I first liked this album because of the nerdcore elements, but I fell in love when I realized that these verses were true poetry, speaking to a deeper truth and beauty unlike most hip-hop I've heard. "A Poet" exemplifies this with its bittersweet message about how poetry is not valued. This is the first hip-hop tune I've ever shed a tear over.
Take a bow, Mega Ran. platinumazure
This Seattle duo explore the more darkly psychedelic side of indie rock on this retrospective album, covering songs recorded from 2009-2019. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 20, 2022
Hooky songs that will appeal to kids and grown-ups alike, smash-cutting the irreverence of The Moldy Peaches with wild psychedelia. Bandcamp New & Notable May 30, 2020
This children’s record isn’t just for kids. Smoky soul grooves and bizarro pop chestnuts make for an entertaining listen. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 21, 2018
I could listen to "Narc Hi Score" anytime, but "Warp Formula" is pure POWAH! You cannot stand still. Buy this album. It's a great variety of WB styles and themes; there's something here for everybody. cyko9
